Removing chocolate stains from leather

In general: always work on a complete section, from seam to seam. Do not rub on only the stain, this makes the stain worse and remains visible even after cleaning. Never use the products directly on th eleather but always use a cloth or soft psonge to distribute it onto the leather. When in doubt, contact us

Smooth leathers:  (aniline, saddle or waxed leather*)

  1. remove coarse contaminations of chocolate with a spoon or the blunt side of a knife
  2. use the furniture attachment of your vacuum-cleaner to remove the remains
  3. clean with the Keralux® degreaser according to the instructions. Let the powder dry for at least 1-2 hours. Afterwords use the furniture attachment of your vacuum-cleaner to remove the powder from the leather.
  4. clean with the Keralux® strong cleanerPut a small amount of the cleaner into a soft sponge and squeeze the sponge to make foam. Apply the foam to the leather and let it work briefly, but don’t let it dry! The foam has to remove the soiling. Remove the foam with a soft damp cloth (preferably with distilled water to prevent lime scale)
  5. in case of colour loss the colour can be renewed using the Keralux® colour repair set
  6. nourish and protect the leather with Keralux® lotion A (aniline leather) or Keralux® lotion S (saddle or waxed leather)
